A few days after the coup d'état, Primo de Rivera recovered a medieval institution restored in 1855 as a co-participant in the restoration of public order.
In Mallorca, if its organization and implementation was relatively rapid and successful, especially in the rural environment, it never came to fit in island society. His number, the Complaints of the Board and the distant relationship with his fellow citizens, seem to indicate this.
Well related to the Patriotic Union, its social affiliation was varied but always within the middle high collective.
Shortly after the end of the Dictatorship, the government of the Second Republic dissolved this Corporation.
