La Plataforma d'Arxius Històrics de les Illes Balears (PAHIB) [https://arxiu-historic.uib.cat] és una plataforma de la Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) basada en el programari ATOM que funciona com un catàleg col·lectiu d'arxius a l'àmbit de les Illes Balears i que en el moment d'aquesta publicació dona servei a 16 institucions arxivístiques. En el present article se'n descriu la filosofia que la sustenta, l'estructura, el funcionament i els continguts que si poden trobar, així com les principals característiques tècniques i les metodologies de treball emprades en els projectes de col·laboració interinstitucional en els quals es bassa.
